St Vlas Apartments
Thinking about a holiday in St Vlas? Here's a little more informationSveti Vlas (St Vlas) is an established town on the Black Sea coast. The town is located on the south slopes of the Balkan Mountains, on the northern part of Burgas Bay, a few miles around the coast from the popular holiday resort Sunny Beach.
The town was settled in the 2nd century by the Thracians, and acquired the current name in the 14th century after Saint Blaise, who had a monastery dedicated to him in the area. The monastery was burnt down by pirate raids over the next few hundred years. During the Ottoman rule of Bulgaria, the town was renamed as Monastery, until regaining the current title in 1886. The settlement was declared as a town (as opposed to a village) in 2006, which makes it the perfect location for your 2007 summer holiday!
